The Pharmacist and our trained Dispensers and Healthcare Assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments.

With consultation and treatment facilities you can be sure that you can speak to our Pharmacist and Pharmacy Team in privacy and with confidence.

We can also give you advice on how to live a healthylife, for example, advice on how to stop smoking, or healthy diets. We can also refer you to more specialist services if needed.

Prescription Dispensing

We dispense NHS prescriptions and give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep a comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and an efficient wholesaler service to enable us to fill all your prescriptions promptly. Repeat Dispensing

We can dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions issued by your doctor. Your GP can issue you with a six or twelve month batch of prescriptions which you can leave with us at the pharmacy, instead of ordering your prescriptions each month. This service is ideally suited to patients on stable medication. Please speak to you GP or Pharmacist about eligibility for this service.

Medicines Use Review

You can make an appointment with our Pharmacist to discuss how you are getting on with your regular medicines. It will allow you to learn more about your medicines and ask any questions you may have, and if you are having difficulties taking your medicines our Pharmacist may be able to assist. One Stop Free* NHS Smoking Cessation Clinic

It’s certainly a tough habit to kick, but our One Stop NHS Smoking Cessation Clinic can help you to quit with our twelve week programme.

Our 12 week programme consists of an initial 30 minute assessment appointment followed by weekly then fortnightly drop in sessions. We provide you with all the help and support you need with our experienced Quit Smoking Advisors. We support your quit attempt by providing you with help and motivation, incentives and supplies of nicotine replacement products to conquer those cravings. Everything you need all under one roof!

Emergency Contraception

Emergency Contraception or the “Morning after Pill” is available free on a walk in basis without prescription. Please contact us for further information.

Chlamydia Screening

A free service for those aged between 14 and 25. Call in and pick up a screening pack to complete in the privacy of your own home and receive your results at your convenience by phone, email or text.

Health Checks

Available health checks include Blood Pressure, Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, Diabetes and Coronary Risk Assessments. Currently these services incur a charge but in future certain tests may be available as a free NHS service. These tests are also available from your GP.
